Terms of use

The terms for using Street Discovery (https://streetdiscovery.app). Effective: November 3, 2026

The service

Street Discovery is a free browser game in which you walk the streets of real cities in Street View, find landmarks, collect things and play with your friends. The service is built on images and services of Google Street View and Google Maps, which are owned by Google.

Account and use

Expected behaviour

Content and copyright

The game's own content (texts, questions, icons, logo) belongs to the provider. The Street View images belong to Google, the map data to OpenStreetMap contributors (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Your in-game name and avatar are your content: you give permission for the service to show them to your friends and room mates.

Liability

The service is available free of charge "as is". We try to keep it stable, but we do not guarantee that it runs without interruption or errors, or that the data (for example the location of landmarks) is always accurate.

The game is not a navigation tool: the route and direction hints only help in-game exploration. Do not use them for real travel.

To the extent permitted by law we accept no liability for damage arising from the use of the free service. This does not affect your rights that the law does not allow to be excluded.

Changes and termination

We may change the service and these terms, and we may close the service. We will tell you in the game about important changes, and you have to accept again at your next sign-in. If you do not accept, you can delete your account.
